How strong is your defense?
Test it with two hundred of the toughest exercises
Fancy yourself a strong defender, do you? As your opponents rise through the ranks, they become much more proficient attackers.
You might eat tactics for breakfast and have learned sturdy defense and calculation in other courses, but have you really put your skills to the test?
Unbreakable Chess Defense is the ultimate defensive test comprising 200 mind-bending puzzles. Whether you’re an improving player or a master who wants to push your calculation muscle to the test, you’re bound to break a sweat trying to find the right defense.
Each puzzle has only 1 correct move – sound easy? You’ll need to get increasingly creative as the level increases.
Here’s the structure of the course:
🛡️El Dorado – tailored for players in the 1600-2200 rating range. Each puzzle should take about 5-10 minutes. Even grandmasters will appreciate the unconventional ideas of each solution
🛡️Brutality – ramping up the difficulty, designed for players in the 2200-2500 rating range. This second level requires extended calculation of about 5-7 moves each and each puzzle should take you 10-15 minutes.
🛡️GM Challenge – the most formidable test of your defensive skills. Each puzzle requires profound contemplation and should take 15-20 minutes to find the solution. Not for the faint of heart!
From the two young talents that taught you Brutal Chess Tactics
International Master Ortik Nigmatov and Grandmaster Temur Kuybokarov are two young up-and-coming players who have a keen eye for tactics.
In fact, they’ve already released one tactics course for Chessable, Brutal Chess Tactics, which teaches players to effect stunning combinations few players would even consider.
Now they teach you to shell up and defend with moves no one will see coming.
GM Kuybokarov impressively increased his rating from 2361 to almost 2484 (a 123-point increase) in just one month and became Grandmaster at the age of 18. He also won the 2020 Australian Championship. Joining him is one of Uzbekistan’s top players, International Master Ortik Nigmatov.
